Sorry, we do not handle SSDI/Social Security claims.Justin Frankel and Jason Newfield built their law firm on the idea that disability claimants are best served by lawyers with a compassionate touch towards their clients, but an aggressive approach with the insurance companies.
Since launching their firm in 2004, Justin Frankel and Jason Newfield have represented thousands of clients and fought against every disability insurance company. This experience is what gives us the edge in pursuing your claim.
Our firm is dedicated to helping you get the disability benefits you deserve. We have done this with every disability insurance company, for thousands of people, and we are ready to do the same for you.
Justin and Jason also understand that a disability claim is a very personal matter, as it requires you to share a lot of medical and financial information. That’s why you will work directly with an experienced partner who will guide you through the claims process and, if necessary, through litigation.
Our firm has flourished because clients and their families appreciate our knowledgeable and aggressive approach to the practice of law as much as they do the level of service that Jason and Justin provide.
As a boutique firm, we provide a select number of clients with highly personalized representation. We know you and your situation and we know that you are facing challenges. We don’t treat you like a case number and fact pattern. Our clients appreciate the personal nature of our practice, and we believe that it makes us more effective advocates for their disability claims.
We know how vital the success of your case is. When you place your trust in us, we take the responsibility very seriously.
We believe it is unfair for large insurance companies to take advantage of people who are so disabled that they have lost their ability to earn a living. That’s why we are determined to provide exactly the support you need, no matter where you are in the process.
Ready to file a claim? Call us first. Our aggressive representation before filing a claim increases the likelihood of a smooth claims process, rather than a denial or termination. If you need to file a claim, we encourage you to contact us first.
If your claim has already been filed and you have received a request for more information, Frankel & Newfield can help. A request for more information can be a sign that the insurance company has concerns about your claim, and this is worrisome. We are able to put our extensive experience to work for you—making sure that the right documents are provided to the insurance company, alerting you to what the claims adjuster may be seeking, and ensuring that you do not provide information that the insurance company is not entitled to.
If your claim has been denied, we recommend you speak with Frankel & Newfield without delay. You only have a limited amount of time to file an appeal and if you miss the deadline, you could permanently lose your right to appeal your claim. During your free telephone consultation, we will review your situation and explain your options.
If you were receiving disability benefits and you receive a termination letter, we urge you to call us as soon as possible. There are time limits on when you need to respond, and your right to fight back is limited to that time.
Has your insurance company been purchased by another company? We have worked with many clients who purchased their disability insurance policies from one insurance giant, only to have their insurance policy swallowed up by another insurance company. This poses a special set of challenges, as the new owners start by cleaning house – getting rid of any unprofitable claims they can.
Regardless of your stage in the claim process, Frankel & Newfield has worked with clients who have been in your very own situation. We believe that you deserve to be represented with dignity, respect, and compassion.
The unfair practices used by many disability insurance companies may cause you tremendous emotional and financial hardship at a time when you can least afford to face such challenges.
Our lawyers fight aggressively to protect your rights, preserve your benefits, and prosecute bad faith denials and terminations of disability claims.
We represent individuals at all stages of the process:
