Frankel and Newfield Exhibiting at GLIDM – Tuesday, April 14 and Wednesday, April 15

Monday, April 13th, 2015

If you are attending this week’s GLIDM – Greater Long Island Dental Meeting- taking place on Tuesday, April 14 through Wednesday, April 15, Justin Frankel and Jason Newfield, disability insurance lawyers, will be on hand and we hope you’ll stop by to visit our booth. We’re also speaking at GLIDM this year, sharing valuable information during our presentation on Wednesday, April 15, 6:00 PM.

Justin Frankel and Jason Newfield will present a 3 CE credit course titled “One Out of Three Dentists,” discussing the challenges facing dentists when they have to file a long term disability claim. Frankel & Newfield is a top-rated disability insurance law firm that represents many dentists, and our presentation will focus on important information that you need to know, should you have ever have to file a disability claim.

According to an analysis of claims from ADA members covered by the ADA disability income plan, one out of three dentists will become disabled at some point during their clinical career. The disability insurance policy and how it is handled can have a life-changing economic impact on the dentist and the family. Will the dentist work in some capacity, or will that work be used by the insurance company to prove that the dentist is not truly disabled? Or does the disability insurance policy provide enough income so that the dentist is able to stop working altogether while recuperating from the illness or injury?

Their presentation will address how many different scenarios play out, and what the dental professional needs to know before filing a claim, what to do when a claim is being denied or delayed, how the appeals process works and what to do when all appeals fail. As disability insurance attorneys it is our job to defend your claim when you are disabled and file for benefits when you are stricken disabled and unable to work.

If you have questions about your personal situation and would prefer to discuss them with us privately, please call our office at 877-LTD-CLAIM (877-583-2524) to speak with a partner.
