Are You Looking for a Legal Directory or a Disability Law Firm?

Monday, March 21st, 2016

As disability insurance lawyers who have been in this practice area for many years, we have seen how the practice of disability insurance law has grown and changed over the decades.

For many of you, finding an attorney has become a difficult and burdensome process. You are faced with wading through online legal directories that require you to answer questions about highly personal matters before they will direct you to a law firm website, and often the law firm is not the best qualified firm, but the firm who has an exclusive marketing arrangement with that directory.

Disability law firms, including ours, use online contact forms to gather some information about you so that we can know a little bit about your situation before we get on the phone with you and learn more. We think that there are advantages for your search by looking at law firm websites and not endless pages of attorney directories.

On a website, you can look at the lawyers who will be representing you. Studies show that most people go directly to the attorney profiles. Searchers look for professionals who have the right credentials and a dedication and passion for helping their clients.

The next place people go to is the testimonials page. How have other people fared with the attorneys? Do they care about their clients and what happens to their families?

Unlike hiring an attorney to represent you in the sale of a business or a commercial transaction, disability cases – whether short term disability or long term disability – are highly personal matters. Your conversation with our office begins with a discussion about your disability, your work and your life. We believe that these are conversations that should take place with a live person.

If you are looking for a disability insurance law firm to help you with a claim that has been denied or if you are considering filing a claim and understand the value of having an experienced team on your side, please call our office during business hours at 877-LTD-CLAIM (877-583-2524) to speak with a live person and learn how we can help.
